ED is caused by either physical and/or psychological factors like stress, anxiety, or depression. Importantly, ED can be the first sign of heart or other health conditions, including cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

Our medical team can order investigative labs in all the states we operate in apart from AZ, NY, NJ and RI. You’ll need to go to a Quest Diagnostics center to have these tests done. When we get the test results back, we can help you understand what they mean.

Potential risks of generic sildenafil

Generic sildenafil 20 mg is generally safe, but should never be used as a recreational drug. It’s a prescription medicine. Our medical team prescribe it to treat a medical condition. Depending on your medical history and what our doctor or nurse practitioner recommends, you should take 1, 3 or 5 pills at once.

Sildenafil can cause serious side effects. These include but are not limited to an erection lasting more than four hours, sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes, and sudden decrease or loss of hearing. The more pills you take at a time or the higher the dose, the more likely you are to experience side effects.

If you have low blood pressure, heart disease, take medicines for heart disease or for high blood pressure, you'll be at greater risk of serious side effects such as severe dizziness, fainting, heart attack, and stroke.

If we give you a prescription for sildenafil, read our detailed Treatment Plan before you take the medicine. It contains important information. Also, read the package insert that comes with the medicine for a full list of side effects and warnings.

Off-label use generic sildenafil

Sildenafil 20mg pills are NOT approved by the FDA to treat erectile dysfunction. In this sense, the prescription our doctors or nurse practitioners write for sildenafil 20 mg is ‘off label’. Sildenafil pills with a 25mg, 50mg, and 100mg dosage are approved by the FDA for erectile dysfunction, but cost much much more. Sildenafil 20mg pills have the same active ingredient as sildenafil 25mg, 50mg and 100mg.
