Something feels different. Let's find your relief.
Perimenopause and menopause can affect much more than your period. And symptoms can begin earlier than many women expect. If you've noticed changes in how you feel physically, mentally or emotionally, they may be worth talking about. Many women have one or more of these symptoms but wait years before talking to an expert.
Mood and mind
Mood changes, irritability, brain fog, trouble concentrating, depression, and anxiety.
Sleep and energy
Trouble sleeping, night sweats, fatigue, changes in energy.
Body and sexual health
Hot flashes, joint discomfort, headaches, heart palpitations, changing periods, weight gain, vaginal dryness, painful sex, libido changes, urinary symptoms and skin changes.
Hormone therapy comes in different forms.
Treatment isn't just about which hormone you take. How it's delivered matters too. Your provider will consider your health history, symptoms and preferences when determining which option may be appropriate.
Perimenopause doesn't look the same for everyone.
"My periods are regular. Could this still be perimenopause?"
Many women in their late 30s notice changes in sleep, mood and concentration but aren't experiencing hot flashes or major period changes yet.*
"I expected hot flashes. I didn't expect everything else."
Women in their 40s may experience changing periods alongside brain fog, poor sleep and joint discomfort among other potential symptoms.*
"Is it too late for me to ask about treatment?"
Many women continue experiencing disruptive symptoms and want to understand their options. It's never too late to look for expert help to feel better.

HRT FAQs (Perimenopause & menopause therapy)
What is menopause hormone therapy (MHT/HRT)?
MHT/HRT refers to treatment with estrogen, often combined with progesterone, used to manage menopause-related symptoms.
When will I hear from my provider if I choose to start with HRT?
During the intake process, if required, you will schedule a consultation or phone call with a Lemonaid Health affiliated healthcare provider. Your provider will review your information within 1-2 days. Your provider will message you through your secure portal when there’s an update or if they need any more information.
Many times, a phone call is not needed and communications all happen within our secure messaging portal.
During prescription renewal visits, you will have the opportunity to discuss your treatment with your provider. Additionally, you can message your provider with any clinical questions related to your treatment plan.
When will I get my medication?
Your medication will be shipped immediately after your visit with your provider and will be sent as a 90 day supply - some meds are only available at the local pharmacy for pick up. Every 90 days you will be charged for and shipped an additional 90 day supply until the end of your membership term. Your membership will automatically renew unless you cancel.
If your treatment changes, your price can too.
Adding or removing a medication — vaginal estrogen, for example — moves you to that plan's price at your next billing date. Dose changes within the same medication don't change what you pay.
Is Lemonaid's care personalized, or is it the same treatment for everyone?
Your plan is based on your symptoms, health history, stage of life, risk factors and preferences — not a single standard protocol. Your provider determines what may be appropriate specifically for you.
If I am not prescribed medication, will I still be charged?
No! We save your payment method now, but nothing is charged until a licensed provider reviews your intake and prescribes a treatment. If you aren't a fit, you pay nothing — including the membership fee.
What's the difference between perimenopause and menopause?
Perimenopause is the transition period leading up to menopause. Menopause itself is reached after 12 consecutive months without a period.
What are the first signs of perimenopause?
Common early signs include changes to your cycle, sleep disruption, mood changes and hot flashes — though not everyone notices the same symptoms first.
Can perimenopause start in your 30s?
Yes. While less common, some women begin experiencing perimenopausal symptoms in their 30s.
Can you be in perimenopause with regular periods?
Yes. Hormonal changes and symptoms can begin before your periods become noticeably irregular.
