Common questions about
Zepbound vials

Two women wearing athletic clothing are walking outdoors, smiling and looking at each other. The woman on the left is wearing a green long-sleeve shirt and patterned leggings, and the woman on the right is wearing a light gray long-sleeve shirt and purple leggings, holding a water bottle.
Zepbound is the brand name for tirzepatide. It's an FDA-approved, once-weekly injectable medication that functions by mimicking two hormones—GLP-1 and GIP—to reduce appetite.
While all three medications are GLP-1 agonists, there are key differences: Active Ingredients: Zepbound contains tirzepatide, a dual agonist that targets both GIP and GLP-1 receptors. Ozempic and Wegovy contain semaglutide, which targets only the GLP-1 receptor. FDA Approval: Zepbound and Wegovy are approved specifically for weight loss. Ozempic is approved for type 2 diabetes but is often used off-label for weight loss.
If suitable, your provider will discuss medication options and recommend a personalized treatment plan — one of those options is Zepbound vials, which would be fulfilled through LillyDirect. The medication will be delivered, charged, and managed separately via LillyDirect.
Zepbound single-dose vials offered via LillyDirect, which are available as a cash pay-only offering start at $299/mo for the 2.5 mg dose. Medication will be delivered, charged, and managed separately via LillyDirect. LillyDirect® reserves the right to establish and modify pricing at any time.

FAQs

You will first complete a detailed intake process which allows us to gather information about your health history, health concerns, medications, and more. After completing the intake process, a Lemonaid Health affiliated healthcare provider will review and conduct a consultation to determine if a weight loss treatment is appropriate for you. If suitable, your provider will discuss medication options and recommend a personalized treatment plan. Typically, treatment begins with a lower dose to minimize side effects, gradually increasing over time until achieving a maintenance dosage. If a Lemonaid Health affiliated healthcare provider determines that weight loss treatment is appropriate for you, the provider will establish the appropriate dosing schedule for you.

As you increase your dosage you will have check-ins with a Lemonaid Health affiliated provider to discuss the appropriateness of a dosage change. Once you reach a maintenance dosage, you will have regular interval check-ins to discuss your treatment and the appropriateness of new prescriptions.
Our weight loss offering is cash-pay only, so you’ll need to pay out of pocket. Lemonaid Health cannot accept insurance for membership fees, medication costs, or medical fees.
Unfortunately, Lemonaid Health Weight Loss is not yet available in all 50 states; however, we’re working to expand our offering as soon as possible.
