There are plenty of reasons why you may want to get tested for STDs.
If you use our online STD testing you can test for the two most common bacterial STDs – chlamydia and gonorrhea – for less than $55 at a Quest Diagnostics lab near you. Getting tested is the only way to know if you have these infections. Typically you wouldn’t show any symptoms if you have these infections.
Test results typically take three to five business days from when you go to the lab to provide your urine sample.

If you test positive for chlamydia with our test then you can complete a separate online visit with our medical team to see whether it’s safe for us to give you a prescription for an antibiotic that is generally very effective at curing a chlamydia infection. We charge a separate visit fee to assess you for chlamydia treatment – it’s not included in the price of the test.

On the Quest Diagnostics website find your nearest Quest Diagnostics location that offers online appointments. You don’t need to make an appointment, but if a location offers online appointments then we know they’re connected to our online lab ordering system.

When we get your test results we’ll send you confidential message through your Lemonaid account. You can ask us any questions about your results. You can download a pdf document of your test results from the MyQuest website.
Get treated
If our test finds chlamydia our medical team can assess whether it’s safe to give you a prescription for an antibiotic. We charge a separate visit fee for this. If you have gonorrhea you’ll need to go to a clinic to get an antibiotic shot.
STD TEST LABS
Go to Quest Diagnostics for the urine test.
The test we order for chlamydia and gonorrhea is a urine test. It’s the same urine test all doctors or nurse practitioners order and we get the test results as quick as you will anywhere else. The test will detect chlamydia and gonorrhea unless you caught them in the last two weeks. If you take a test before two weeks the test may not find chlamydia or gonorrhea even though you have them. The test won’t detect chlamydia and gonorrhea in your throat or anus.
The lab test itself only costs you $28.16 because we’ve negotiated great prices to keep your costs low.

ABOUT CHLAMYDIA AND GONORRHEA
Chlamydia (kla-MIH-dee-ah) and gonorrhea (gon-o-RHEE-ah) are 2 of the most common sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
Chlamydia and gonorrhea are infections you can get in your vagina, penis, anus or throat.
You get chlamydia or gonorrhea from having vaginal, anal or oral sex with someone who has chlamydia or gonorrhea. Getting tested is the only way to find out if you have them.
They are easy to treat but they can become serious if not treated. The treatment for chlamydia is antibiotic pills. The treatment for gonorrhea is an antibiotic injection/shot.
If you have chlamydia and/or gonorrhea you can get others STDs, including HIV, more easily. Left untreated they can cause infertility in women as chlamydia and gonorrhea can damage your tubes.
SYMPTOMS OF CHLAMYDIA AND GONORRHEA
Many people with chlamydia and/or gonorrhea don’t have any signs or symptoms. If you have symptoms, they may include:
- Pain or burning when you urinate (pee)
- Fluid from the vagina, penis or anus that smells bad or looks strange
- Bleeding from the vagina during or after sex
- Pain or tingling in the penis
- Pain in the lower belly or back, especially when having sex (in women)
- Pain and/or swelling in the testicles
- A fever
